My husband is a veterinarian and we had some very sweet clients get into a wreck.  We wanted to send them a special card with room for all our staff to leave personal messages.  This is what I came up with.

I made the dog using paper piecing.  The inspiration was a card found on Pinterest.  The link is here:  http://mypaperjourney.blogspot.com/2012/02/thinking-of-you-lawnscaping-challenge.html 

I layered the oval on top of the cardstock which gave me a edge to run liquid glue against and then lay the bakers twine against.  The inside had our message and some space for people to sign, but I also had a white piece of cardstock on the top half for more people to sign.  I didn't adhere it until after people had signed so the front of the card didn't get smushed.
